Time for President Bush to voice reality

ISN'T IT TIME FOR PRESIDENT BUSH TO VOICE REALITY?

Islamic Militants are the problem, Terrorism is their mode of operation!

Do we have anyone in a leadership position in the United States government that has the courage to call the attack our nation suffered on 9-11-2001 in New York City, the devastating train explosions in Spain; what London just experienced, and for that matter what is happening in Iraq, just what it is........attacks by ISLAMIC MILITANTS...despicable killers with hatred toward westerners.

I'm tired of hearing spineless descriptions of the "peace loving" Islamic religion....I assume there are elements embracing Islam that are peace loving, but the element that is bombing, severing heads, purposefully killing children are not demonstrating a "peaceful religion".....the ones that are doing the killing embrace the Islamic religion, they are ISLAMIC MILITANTS, killers who are hell-bent on destroying our freedom and western civilization as we know it.

It's time we said it and let the world know ISLAMIC MILITANTS are our enemy; it's time "peace loving" Islam followers get out front and denounce all forms of the brutal killing now being perpetrated by ISLAMIC MILITANTS; it's time we stop the ignorant "politically correct" notion that viewing middle easterners as suspects is racial action; it's time we stop playing games with ISLAMIC MILITANTS that are operating known cells in the United States...they need to be arrested, locked up before they exercise their warped mindset against Americans.

Will we allow President Bush, Congress, Governors, others responsible for the protection of citizens continue dazzling us with meaningless "terrorist" excuses rather than taking the responsible action - namely, putting some motivating metal on the countries that are supporting the ISLAMIC MILITANTS?

Countries such as Syria, Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, et al, must be put on notice to take aggressive action against ISLAMIC MILITANTS, stop funding their brutal killing, or experience offensive action from the United States.......no sweet talk, it's time for a Patton or Theodore Roosevelt to step forward.

It is apparent to me that we have so-called leadership in Washington, D.C. that are without the courage, backbone, resolve, national purpose, to defeat our confrontation with ISLAMIC MILITANTS. They all fear their political future, are scared to death of the media exposing them "standing up for America", and sad to say, we have no Pattons’, Hackworths’ with the courage to tell the decision makers the brutal truth.

Our homeland was attacked and we have leaders that reflect nothing beyond political gamesmanship---they have no concept our national survival is at stake.

The war we are fighting was a bad plan from the get-go. This administration wanted it with Iraq so badly we had to manufacture our justification. We had Saddam effectively contained and he was a valuable counterweight to Iran. If Osama was who we were after why not pour all of our resources into Afghanistan and capture/kill this bastard? I mean he has become a folk legend to these crazy camel ******* and all Bush can say is "you can run but you can't hide." Well, here is a clue for you idiot Bush-he can run and he CAN hide. How many Iraqis were on the 9/11 jets? It is like if France attacked us we go nuke Mexico. I just don't see the logic beside Georgie 43 sitting around the Thanksgiving table with ole' George 41 telling him "I'm gonna get the man that tried to kill you in Kuwait daddy." It is so macho Texan along with all those cowboy western cliches like "were gonna smoke em outta their holes, yada, yada. Bush says one thing, Cheney another, and Rummy something completely different. Just like the three stooges except this is not a comedy but a horror show. By the way- if you think I'm a bleeding heart liberal let me tell you. I'm a 10 year active duty Navy vet with 2 honorable discharges and voted for Reagan twice, Bush 41 twice, Dole, and Dubya ONCE, much to my eternal regret.

We should start deporting these crazy suicidal Muslim bastards right now and get everyone of them out of the country. We also need to fight the war in Iraq differently, we have some of the best brains of military defense and offence that the world knows of. I said from the start that America should have gone through Iraq (which they did in 3 weeks) then they should have gone through Syria and cleaned them out and then finished up with Iran in a few weeks or months and then come home to America and let those suicidal bastards kill each other for about two years and then go back over for round two. We need to fight these suicidal infidel freaks differently than other wars that we have fought. As soon as we leave from Iraq it may last six months but the few individuals who think they want to fight for freedom will probably lay down their arms and go back being under a dictator, that is just the way the middle east is. I do not want to waste another American service personnel, we have lost too many already. Turn the war over to the Iraq people right now and see if they are going to make it while we still have some military personnel there.

Certainly agree with your observations on militant Muslims terrorist who know no borders in their quest to eliminate us so called infidels world wide. If you are not a Muslim, then you are an infidel according to their deluded definition and way of thinking.

There may be those Muslim who claim to be peaceful for political purposes, but in reality never really condemn militant Muslim terrorists attacks on the Khobar Towers, the Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, the U.S. Cole, the 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers in the U.S., the recent attacks in London etc etc.

Yes, a reality check certainly is in order by our elected officials who vote to fund foreign aid to countries for humanitarian reasons and those Countries turn around and use that foreign aid against the U.S. to support terrorist organization even though it was funded for humanitarian reasons. Like the U.N funds for oil for food program fiasco that can't be accounted for. Yes, time for a reality check.

Though I totally agree with you in saying the Moslem Militants are killing women, children, and entire families for intimidation purposes like the VC did in 'Nam, we have our own version in Washington D.C only he calls himself a Christian.

Islamists are practicing a religion that has trapped them in a time warp for nearly 1,000 years. Remove the tanks and guns and stuff and you could half way expect to see a Biblical character to go walking by. They murder their own daughters for getting laid but it's ok for junior to go rape and pillage around the middle east. The religion is a huge contradiction. Kind of like "do as I say not as I do".

Like Bush, to our military, go and protect the US from terror somewhere in the world but I have no intention of protecting our borders here at home.

Having lived for around twenty years in the Middle East, worked with nationals from most of the countries you mention, and knowing many peaceful Islamic people. The militants hide pretty well and avoid any government agencies. Firebrand clerics use outright lies about wrong doings of nonresident other faiths to fill the mosques for Friday noon prayers. Your lesson is that the meek must restore their power by over throwing the Militant Cleric(s). Well the militants are pretty well entrenched, but like all cowards they will retreat and quickly change colors when confronted. Iraq's Bani Sadr's are a minority, public embarrassment will not shame him, and people like him probably need to face the peaceful who can order his execution for the murder of his followers and for exposing many Iraqi's to death, or possible death while allied forces pursued him.

Khomeini is an example of how to do something wrong. The Iranian Federal Courts ordered the death penalty for Khomeini, a merciful Shah over rode the court and exiled Khomeini. Where did the Great Satan spend his exile? The Grand Mosque in Najaf Iraq. The Shah reinstated the death penalty and authorized SAVAK to execute The Great Satan. SAVAK would not execute Khomeini in The Grand Mosque so Khomeini spent nine years without departing the sanctity of the Najaf Grand Mosque. The Great Satan was a survivor. Today militant clerics still run Iran.
